make a reservation onlineZest Spirited Dining opened its doors in March 2004. The mood at Zest is friendly and warm. You'll be greeted with a smile (and often a hug!). The amicable staff will treat you more like a member of the family than a customer. The ambience, as described by Howard Seftel of the Arizona Republic is "a hip, arty, candlelit grotto." Zest showcases the work of local artists.

Zest's "innovative American" menu includes such preparations as appetizer eggplant cheesecake topped with savory roasted garlic sauce. According to New Times critic Stephen Lemons the dish is "nonpareil." Other appetizers include shrimp and goat cheese melt and wood-oven roasted Portobello mushroom. Entrees are highlighted by such offerings as Panko breaded pork chop finished with an orange-cranberry chutney, bacon-wrapped Atlantic salmon, oh-so-tender osso buco bathed in Grand Marnier, and catfish gumbo. Entrees range from $13-$35 and include a tableside prepared house salad.

The wine list, arrange in a user-friendly progressive style, offers a varied array of both domestic and imported vintages. Each of the wines was personally tasted and selected by Charles and the staff.

Zest is proud to have been cited as one of the top 25 new restaurants for 2004 by dining critic Nikki Buchanan (Phoenix Magazine October 2004) and has been featured on her Channel 3 television show "Nikki's Pick." Our eggplant cheesecake has also been listed in Phoenix magazine as "the best cheesecake that isn't a dessert!"

We thank you for choosing Zest Spirited Dining and look forward to serving you.
